On Oct.14 and on Oct.21 two lectures on China’s political administrative system will be held by Jørgen Delman, PhD, professor of Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies of Copenhagen University.

The lecture discusses the nature of the Chinese party and state system, its institutions and political processes. How can the system be explained and what are the key mechanisms that make it work?
 
China’s political administrative system (2): How does the system work in practice – the case of climate change and renewable energy
Oct. 21, 09:00-11:00, Room A 201, Eastbuilding 1
By focusing on a new policy arena – climate change and renewable energy - the lecture will discuss how the Chinese party and state system works in practice at the central and the local levels and how it approaches the development of new types of governance.
