【Cooperation】President of California Institute of Integral Studies Visited ICS

  April 12-13, the president of California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), Joseph L.Subbiondo and board member Lixin Huang visited Institute of China Studies and signed MoU with ICS.
  In the afternoon of April 12, ICS directors and staffs had meetings with the delegation of CIIS and updated them with the current programme and international development. The president Joseph L.Subbiondo exchanged detail ideas about further collaboration.
  April 13, MoU was signed (effective from 2017-202). From 2017, CIIS will send up to 10 PhD students (Anthropology and social reform major) to MCS to study and there would be scholarship available made for them. Meanwhile CIIS will provide 1800 USD as a grant for MCS professors to have academic visit at their university.
  CIIS is a private university in the US and was founded in 1968 in San Francisco, CA. The university has undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students. From 2014 CIIS had visited several times to ICS , seeking for collaboration. 2018 the first group of CIIS will come to Zhejiang University to conduct research and study.
