Resume:

1982: Getting Bachelor's degree in German Language and Literature at Hangzhou University,  editor of “Beijing weekly” newspaper at ministry of culture

1985: Working at Zhejiang University

1987-1993: Studying for a Master’s degree in literature theory at Technical University in Berlin as well as in Sinology at Free University in Berlin

1996: Getting a doctorate of Technical University in Berlin. Teaching at foreign language teaching and researching institute at Technical University in Berlin. Participating DFG research project in Germany.

2000: Coming back to Zhejiang University, Dean at institute of German Studies, leader of German Literature discipline.

 

Research Areas and Achievement:

Research Areas: Western literature theory, cross-cultural hermeneutics, teaching German as a foreign language.

Editor of the domestic and foreign academic journals in the above research areas, lead and participate in many research projects in China, publish academic monographs like: “Literature and The World Cross-cultural Hermeneutics”, “Critical Discourse Analysis in Robert Walser’s Novels”, “Austrian Modern Literature” etc. Academic translation “A back number”(Band 1 & 2), published over 40 papers on the authoritative and academic journals at home and abroad.
